Head of Asset Management Europe

From the Finance Division at W Executive we are looking for a HEAD OF ASSET MANAGEMENT EUROPE for one of our clients, a company specializes in the initiation, development, financing, establishment, management and operation of projects in the field of electricity generation from renewable energy sources with operations in Europe and based in Madrid.

The main role of the candidate will be, among others, the following:

• Responsible for the financial and tax management of renewable project companies in different European countries (mainly Poland, Spain, Italy and other European Countries).
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements for holding companies and project companies across markets (IFRS and local GAAPs as the case may be).
• Coordinate the preparation and undertake the control of budgets across projects, countries and business units in close collaboration with functional teams.
• Coordinate the execution and control of payment cycles. 
• Oversee renewable projects' asset management activities, liaising with vendors and functional teams, implementing AM best practices. 
• Responsible for reporting and integration of data of assets' financial performance.

• At least 8 years of professional experience in accounting/auditing/control functions preferably with a big-4 audit firm.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in renewables' asset management.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and in Spanish languages is a prerequisite. 
• Attention to detail, proven project management and organizational skills and ability to function within teams under tight deadlines.
• Availability to travel (mainly in Europe).
