Our client is an international leading company within the Chemical Distribution Industry, based in Barcelona.

Mission: 

  • Responsibility for the P/L (revenues, margins) for all products sold in the Business Unit Industrial (Plastics, Rubber, Coating & Construction, Paper, Textile, Leather, Agrochemicals, Polymers, Adhesives and Polyurethanes); 

  • Coordination of the activities of the single Sales Managers, maximizing synergies, optimizing common strategies and Sales Managers actions; 

  • Management and activities coordination for Tier A Principals; 

  • Generation of a Product management strategy and its implementation within the Industrial BU. 

The main tasks are: 

 

  • Coordinate the yearly BU Sales Budget definition (revenues/gross margin/volumes) aligned with the Group strategic targets.

  • Support GM during definition/discussion/signature of Agency/Distribution contracts 

  • Support CFO on customers internal credit threshold definition; 

  • New Principals scouting activities and product portfolio development (rationalization/expansion), aligned with the 3-years Strategic Development Plan; 

  • Define a 3-years Strategic Development Plan for the BU aligned with the Group targets; 

  • Define and implement communications strategies agreed with Communication Manager; 

  • Principal and technical info cross-fertilization between SM/countries. 

Perfil buscado (H/M/D)

Requirements: 

  • Diploma or degree in Chemistry or Materials Science will be preferred; 

  • Proved experience, at least 5 years, as PM in distributors of Coating & Construction market; 

  • Experience in coordinating people; 

  • Proficiency in English; 

  • Availability to travel across the country.
