The role will report to the CEO of the subsidiary in Spain and the Group Sales Director and will be responsible for growing the business in the Spanish market sustainably and profitably.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales Management:

  • Development and implementation of sales strategies in the Spanish market.
  • Market analysis and identification of opportunities.
  • Negotiation skills and management of relationships with key customers, managing a sales network composed of multi-agency representatives.
  • Monitoring sales performance and developing improvement plans.

Stock Management:

  • Planning and optimization of stock levels.
  • Supervision of procurement and logistics.
  • Monitoring of stocks and management of risks related to obsolescence and waste

HR Management:

  • Leadership and ability to inspire the team.
  • Development and management of human resources.
  • Conflict resolution and management of individual and team performance.

Perfil buscado (H/M/D)

We are looking for a Business Unit Director for the Spanish market.
The ideal candidate  with at least 10 years of sales experience in the Spanish market (ideally in the hardware distribution sector or related fields and selling OEM components to manufacturing industries). Overall, the ideal candidate for this role will be a visionary technologist with a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to revolutionize access control systems and drive innovation in the IoT space.
He/She must be a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and preferably have a good level of Italian (or willingness to learn), and must be located in Valencia

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to manage a P&L, analyze sales data, stock, and personnel performance
  • Use of key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies
  • Interpretation of market trends and sales forecasts
  • Ability to work with the group marketing division to define catalog, positioning policies, and communication

Communication Skills:

  • Clear and effective communication with the team, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to present and sell ideas persuasively
  • Management of internal and external communications Results Orientation:
  • Defining clear and measurable objectives
  • Constant monitoring of performance against objectives
  • Adopting corrective measures to ensure the achievement of objectives Time Management and Prioritization:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Effective prioritization of activities to maximize efficiency
  • Adaptability to sudden changes and stress management Strategic Vision:
  • Development of a long-term vision for business growth in Spanish-speaking markets
  • Adoption of innovative approaches to maintain competitiveness
  • Adjustment of strategies based on market development
