Head of Construction Management
About the role
Our client is looking for a Head of Construction Management, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, committed with the Company mission. The role will lead construction efforts of a chemical industrial plant.
The plant is based in Richland (Washington State), with monthly trips to Spain.
Job description
The selected candidate will lead construction management team to ensure correct execution and feasibility of the industrial plant in quality, time and budget.
- Lead construction of chemical production plant.
- Lead development & execution strategy of the construction phase of the plant.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Manage communication with clients, stakeholders, contractors and authorities throughout project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance to engineering team and EPC contractors to ensure alignement with the company targets.
Profile
- 10+ years experience in construction of large industrial plants.
- At least 1 construction experience in US.
- Subcontract management skills (BoQ, method statement, RfQ packages, etc...)
- Proven construction cost and management skills.
- Multi-disciplinary experience (civil, buildings, mechanical and E&I, etc...)
- Construction planning.
- English advanced. Spanish optional
